Patterns for makers who'd rather stitch a real species
Counted cross-stitch charts and water-soluble stick-and-stitch embroidery patterns, delivered as PDFs after checkout. Each design starts with a specific bird, so what ends up in the hoop is recognizable as the chickadee, warbler, or owl it's meant to be. Cross-stitch charts are Pattern Keeper compatible and include a color key with suggested floss. Stick-and-stitch patterns wash away cleanly once you've stitched over them, so the bird stays and the paper doesn't.
A pattern that does some good.
North America has lost more than one in four breeding birds since 1970. The chickadees, warblers, sparrows, and songbirds in these patterns are the same ones disappearing from the yards they belong in. Better With Birds exists to raise awareness for the work reversing that decline. Every order helps protect the birds you love.
An evening, a hoop, and a bird you love
Maybe cross-stitch is your wind-down after work. Maybe the embroidery hoop has been in the basket for a year and you finally want a pattern worth picking it back up for. Maybe you're new to stitching and you want a project small enough to actually finish. These are made for all of you.
What you get
A PDF download in your order confirmation. Cross-stitch charts include a color key and suggested DMC floss numbers. Stick-and-stitch patterns are printed onto water-soluble stabilizer (you'll find detailed instructions in each product page).
Skill level
Smaller stitch counts and tighter color palettes are the friendliest entry point. Larger pieces hold attention without insulting it. Every pattern lists size and stitch count so you can pick what fits your evening.
Delivery
Digital download, available instantly after checkout. No shipping wait. Sharing or reselling the pattern file itself isn't allowed; finished pieces stitched from the patterns are yours.
